Train de la reconnaissance Francaise, 75th Anniversary Celebration

Welcome to the Veterans Day Celebration and Merci Boxcar 75th Celebration!
The event includes a continental breakfast. A viewing of the 1948 documentary “The Friendship Train” film, which precipitated the reception of 49 boxcars from France. Also view historic displays, display of original boxcar gifts, and receive a free booklet on the
history of the boxcar. A presentation and wreath laying ceremony and Color Guard at the boxcar. Also, lunch provided by the American Legion Post 120, music, commemorative merchandise, gift shop, and more.
